Malibu saw between 2.40 and 2.72 inches of rain in the past two days, and near by Monte Nido saw 4.45 inches. Topanga Canyon was hit with a whopping 6.79 inches of rain. The week's storm wreaked havoc across Los Angeles and even prompted closures of Malibu schools Tuesday. All Malibu schools reopened Wednesday, as Malibu was not expected to see rain throughout the day, according to Accuweather. A high surf advisory remained in place for Malibu Wednesday through Friday with high surf reaching 6 to 10 feet.
