Storm Cleanup Prompts Lane Closures On Malibu, Potter Road
After rain and stormy weather pummeled Los Angeles, Malibu roads were expected to see closures Wednesday for clean up.

MALIBU, CA — Some Malibu roads were expected to have closures Wednesday as the city recovered from Monday and Tuesday's massive storm.
Malibu Canyon Road from Potter Road to city limits was expected to have alternating closures from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The city would provide traffic control and flaggers.
Malibu saw between 2.40 and 2.72 inches of rain in the past two days, and near by Monte Nido saw 4.45 inches. Topanga Canyon was hit with a whopping 6.79 inches of rain.

The week's storm wreaked havoc across Los Angeles and even prompted closures of Malibu schools Tuesday. All Malibu schools reopened Wednesday, as Malibu was not expected to see rain throughout the day, according to Accuweather.
A high surf advisory remained in place for Malibu Wednesday through Friday with high surf reaching 6 to 10 feet.
