MALIBU, CA – A roadwork project on Pacific Coast Highway meant to begin earlier this month has been delayed due to recent storms and is now expected to begin on March 23 at 7 p.m., according to the city.

One lane of traffic at various locations on Pacific Coast Highway will be closed for the duration of the project, set to be completed in late May. Work will pause during the week of March 27 and resume April 3, according to the city.

Caltrans will close a single lane of traffic at various locations from Malibu Lagoon Bridge to Corral Canyon Road during the project, which will see crews remove and replace damaged pavement and install new lane striping. The work will stretch from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. and the schedule is subject to change, according to the city’s website.
