Is There Any Hope?

Ask yourself: Are we a society interested in integrity, ethics, honesty, protecting victims, protecting children, etc.?

The answer is sketchy--at best!

Perhaps the most pious and self touting “morally upstanding”
institution in the world, The Catholic Church, from the Pope on down,
was (and is) conspiratorially involved (up to it’s eyeballs) for decades (surely centuries) in the coverup of thousands of cases of child molestation perpetrated by Catholic Priests anywhere and everywhere
Catholic Priests hang their robes....from Boise to Boston, Paris to Chile.
Cardinal O’Connor of NYC, and Cardinal Mahoney of Los Angeles (and many
others at the top of the Catholic food chain) were co conspirators in the coverup.

Let’s think about that: the coverups (and the indifference to the
enabling and facilitation of further molestations) were instigated by
the Catholic HIERACHY. The victims were children, people who believed in the inherent goodness of the church. They were preyed upon by Priests whom they trusted. The lives of
children were ruined at the hands of the Catholic Church and no one
cared.

The current pope, pope Francis, as recently as last month, insisted that victims of pedophile priests show "proof" in order to be believed. He made this statement in Santiago, Chile in January 2018 in response to widespread accusations of pedophilia among Chilean Priests. This is breathtaking! The coverup continues...this time aided and abetted by the spiritual leader of the world. After widespread criticism the pope later apologized for his "insensitive" statements.

A new report reveals Pope Francis is quietly making the Catholic church a safe space for pedophile priests.

The Associated Press
reports that Pope Francis is reducing sanctions against pedophile
priests, and even refusing to defrock priests found guilty of sexually
abusing children, all in the name of mercy.

In one particularly egregious case,
Francis let off one notorious pedophile priest, Rev. Mauro Inzoli, with
just a lifetime of prayer for abusing five young boys.

Investigators have estimated that as many as 6% of Catholic Priests molest children. If you are in a
room with 16 Priests odds are that one of them is sexually molesting children.
Now, when one of the most respected (mindblowing) and sacrosanct institutions on the planet
is running a widespread child molestation factory then what possible
hope do we have that the U.S. Government, the NFL, the NCAA, Wall Street, The Fed,
the American Medical Association, the Supreme Court, Penn State University, Universities everywhere, the American Bar Association, Big Pharma, Hollywood, Corporations, Apple, The Police Department, the RNC, DNC, Starbucks, The Boy Scouts of America, or the YMCA, etc., etc., are going to act honestly or with ethics, or with
even the slightest amount of character?
Bad News: The odds are zero! Follow the money and you’ll be covered in the sex along the way. All of the above institutions have been caught in widespread, systemic corruption and/or sex scandals.

If you have any plans to expose Catholic Church Inc. of ANY
improprieties their legal team will be eager and willing to cut off your
head in front of your children and toss it in a dumpster...Think Mafia!

In case you never heard this in the history books the Catholic Church cooperated fully with the Third Reich during WWII...it was an arm of the Nazi party. A few Catholic Priests (most notably Dietrich Bonhoeffer who was executed after a failed attempt to assassinate Hitler) acted independently but the church at large joined hands with the Swastika.

It takes a Village to abuse children and cover it up. The “village”
of Boston was the perfect place to perpetuate widespread systemic child
molestation because all the necessary groups either enabled or worked
directly to cover it up; the police, lawyers, the Courts, the media, AND, the
parishioners themselves who excused and dismissed virtually all of the
child molestation charges against the church. Money, fear, cruelty, perversion, or
blind devotion were the levers for the incredibly destructive machinery
that was child molestation. Yes, it took a village! Nobody’s hands
were clean.

Americans are impossible to shame....white men particularly. We want
what we want and we are willing to do anything to get it...thus, the
election of Donald J. Trump. He is, perhaps, the truest reflection of
who we really are as Americans; more than any President we have ever
had.

I offer no hope.....our civilization (white males) has always been built on the backs or breasts of blacks, women, minorities, and even children. Greed and corruption and lies and sex crimes and exploitation will never go away....Misogyny is here to stay. It's not a fringe characteristic--it is Mainstream...it is not the exception; it is the Rule. You'd have an easier time trying to stop the rain from falling....but let's try, anyways.
