Topanga Canyon Blvd Will Be Shut Down This Weekend For Repairs

Crews will be repairing storm-eroded embankments.

MALIBU, CA – A section of Topanga Canyon Boulevard between Malibu and Topanga will be closed throughout the weekend so crews can conduct repair work on storm-eroded embankments.

The street will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday between Pacific Coast Highway and Grand View Drive.

"The hillside had multiple rock and debris slides onto Topanga Canyon (Boulevard) this year, triggering full closures of the highway for days," according to Caltrans.
