Topanga Canyon Boulevard To Close For Slope Work
Crews will do repair work on storm-eroded embankments at nights this week.
MALIBU, CA – A stretch of Topanga Canyon Boulevard between Malibu and Topanga will be closed at night this week, starting Monday evening, so crews can perform repair work on storm-eroded embankments.
The street will be closed between Pacific Coast Highway and Grand View Drive from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night, continuing for four nights.
Caltrans officials said multiple rock and debris slides occurred in the canyon during this year's storms, necessitating work to stabilize the hillside.
