TROJANS OF USC NEED ANOTHER COACH ..AND ANOTHER A.D.

Pat Haden....one of the most beloved and greatest USC Trojans of all time...has, in my opinion, worn out his welcome. Nobody is asking me...but I think it is time for him to return to his law practice. It pains me to say this about someone I have always respected and admired on all levels...but it is hard to wrap my head around this two time blunder...

Haden comes to the A.D. helm with Kiffin doing miserably...he makes the right decision in firing Kiffin during midseason and the Trojans rally to win 6 out of 7 games before losing the UCLA. Then, he does something that no one thought was a good idea...he hires a coach with a known and chronicled drinking problem and who has compiled a 35 - 29 coaching record over his career...to run one of the most prestigious programs in college football...

Then, Haden is apparently not in touch enough or observant enough to see that Sarkissian is an alcoholic...he allows Sark to stay even after his embarrassing behavior at a major USC function...

no one likes Pat Haden more than I do....I still have a lot of respect for him on many levels, and I remember how many times he delivered as USC QB......but he has lost his credibility in my opinion....

The next USC coach will hopefully be someone with NO USC ties...it worked beautifully with Pete Carroll who had NO ties to the University...and, we should hire the best coach money can buy....we should pay him anything he wants...because we should know by now that a great college football coach can make all the difference in the world.....Urban Meyer is making Ohio State a bundle...as is Nick Saban of Alabama....and if you need any further evidence...look at what Jim Harbaugh is doing at Michigan...amazing! Now, contrast that with what is happening to University of Texas with second year coach Charlie Strong...and to second year coach Jim Helfrich at Oregon who has fallen apart since using up all of Chip Kelly’s recruits.....he is turning wine into water faster than you can say Marcus Mariota.
