Trump Appoints Malibu Man To JFK Center Board Of Trustees

Ten people were appointed to the Board of Trustees of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts​.

MALIBU, CA – President Donald Trump appointed Malibu resident Marc Stern and nine others to the Board of Trustees of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Tuesday.

Stern, a business executive and philanthropist, is chairman of the Los Angeles-based asset-management firm The TCW Group Inc., and chair of the Board of Directors of The Mayor's Fund for Los Angeles which sponsors programs that address acute and long-term needs and chairman of the Los Angeles Opera.

Oscar-winning actor Jon Voight and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee were among the other appointees to the remainder of six-year terms expiring Sept. 1, 2024.
