2 Cars Collide At Civic Center Way In Malibu

A 91-year-old man has been transported to UCLA Hospital with minor injuries, according to LA County Fire.

MALIBU, CA — A 91-year-old man sustained minor injuries after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Civic Center Way and South Malibu Canyon Road caused his car to hit a pole.

The man was transported by helicopter to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Westwood after Los Angeles County Firefighters extricated him from his car, according to Captain Jensen of LA County Fire Department Station 88 in Malibu.

The second northbound lane of Malibu Canyon Road is closed at Civic Center Way as of 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Malibu-Lost Hills Sheriff's station.

Sheriffs and firefighters are investigating the cause of the crash. No other injuries or property damage have been reported.
