If a PSPS is implemented, and the hazardous conditions have passed, it could take 24 to 72 hours before service is restored because SCE must first inspect all power lines in the affected circuit area to ensure they are safe to re-energize.

The City will post information on its website (www.MalibuCity.org), social media, and Nextdoor, and with emergency alerts. Information will also be recorded on the Emergency & Traffic Hotline (call 310-456-9982). Updates will be provided as they are received. For more information, call Malibu City Hall at 310-456-2489.
