WHAT DO YOU EXPECT FROM A FRIENDSHIP..WHAT DO YOU OFFER?
Sometimes it is better to risk failure than to live with mediocrity.....

From my point of view...don’t be afraid to lose friends. It’s not like the more “friends” you have the more important you are....having a lot of “friends” does not insulate you from your own weaknesses. Sometimes you can do a lot more for others by risking your friendship with them for the purpose of honesty. Don’t sacrifice anything in order to prop up a weak friendship, or one that compromises your principles.
Sometimes it is better to risk failure than to live with mediocrity (of any kind)...that goes for friendships, too. Sometimes it is better to take a risk and to go after magnificence, through honesty and even provocation. A magnificent failure is most often better than a mediocre success....that is how I see it. A mediocre success is always safer...but no one got anywhere (big) by being “safe“. That‘s the most overrated virtue....safety.
I say....always have a positive impact on others, be thoughtful with friends, strangers, acquaintances, etc.,.....give them your best, but don’t be afraid to be honest, or to prune your tree of those branches that are bringing you down....especially if it is for a greater good.
