Where To Find Sandbags In Malibu

MALIBU, CA — Malibu is expected to get heavy rain on Thursday, along with the rest of Los Angeles.

Los Angeles County Public Works will give out sandbags at multiple locations Thursday to help Malibu residents deal with the unusual amount of rain. In Malibu, you can pick up sandbags at:

• Malibu Fire Station #71, 28722 West Pacific Coast Highway, 310-457-2578
• Malibu Fire Station #70, 3970 Carbon Canyon Road, 310-456-2513

Putting sandbags around your house will help avoid flooding or any damage from water and debris during a heavy rain.

Malibu has nearly a 100 percent chance of rain through Friday morning, at which point the rain should clear in time for the holiday weekend.
