Authorities Identify Woman Fatally Hit By Truck In Malibu
A woman was fatally struck by a car on Pacific Coast Highway Thursday morning. The accident caused major closures and slowdowns.
MALIBU, CA — A woman was fatally hit by a truck Thursday in Malibu around Busch Drive on the State Route 1 (Pacific Coast Highway).
Authorities identified the woman as Nicole Valdes-Cortez, 27, of Los Angeles.
The accident occurred around 6:30 a.m. at Busch Drive. Though all lanes were initially shut down, westbound lanes reopened around 9:06 a.m. and eastbound lanes reopened at 1 p.m.
