Zuma Beach Shut Down Due To Lightning In Malibu
Other beaches are being monitored and may also be closed depending on how the storm progresses.

MALIBU, CA – Zuma Beach closed down Thursday morning due to lightning as the first in a series of storms moved into Southern California.
The beach shut down shortly before 9 a.m. before Los Angeles County lifeguards said other beaches are being monitored and may be closed depending on storm activity and direction.
"If lightning is present we urge beachgoers to seek shelter off the beach," LA County lifeguards tweeted.

The National Weather Service issued a flash flood watch in wildfire burn areas, including the areas impacted by the Woolsey Fire, until 3 p.m.
