18 Arrests Made In Manhattan Beach, Weekly Crime Report Shows

There were 873 calls for service and 18 arrests made in Manhattan Beach during the week of April 23-29, according to police data.

In all, three auto thefts were reported during the seven-day period, as well as two vehicle burglaries, one residential burglary and a vandalism case.

There were also a handful of shoplifting cases. The more notable events during the week included:

• On 4/24/26 at about 5:30 pm, officers responded to a business in the 1200 block of Sepulveda Boulevard, regarding a shoplifting suspect inside a store. Upon the arrival of officers, a suspect was located in the store and subsequently arrested.

• On 4/24/26 at about 9:10 pm, officers responded to a business in the 1700 block of Rosecrans Avenue, regarding shoplifting suspects inside the store. When officers arrived, they detained three suspects, all of whom were ultimately arrested for various violations.
• On 4/25/26 at about 12:50 pm, officers responded to a burglary report in the 1300 block of Laurel Avenue. Upon contact is was determined that an unknown suspect entered the property and took a dog from the victim's residence. A report was taken.
• On 4/26/26 at about 9:10 am, officers responded to a report of a theft from a vehicle in the 1800 block of Poinsettia Avenue. Upon arrival, the victim told officers that unknown suspects had entered their unlocked vehicle and stole one dollar in coins. A report was taken.
