• Five LA County Beach Areas Remain Under Bacteria Warnings (mynewsla.com) — Ocean water near Manhattan Beach Pier has just tested back within state health standards, so recent bacteria warnings there have been lifted, but several nearby beaches still face advisories. Los Angeles County health officials urge swimmers and surfers to avoid specific stretches of Redondo, Torrance, Topanga and Paradise Cove while bacteria levels remain high. Residents can check the county hotline or website for updated maps and conditions.
