Art Dept. Moving From MB to Hermosa

If you know and love the MB Art Department, you might want to stop in to check out their final art show, "Art Will Always Be Here," featuring 10 local artists, Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at 1727 Aviation Blvd., MB.

The business has changed its name to the South Bay Art Department and is moving a few blocks away to 1075 Aviation Blvd. in Hermosa Beach.

Henderson Blumer of the Art Department told the Easy Reader that the show bids farewell to the physical space the business occupied but not to the area community.

SBAD, he said, is known to facilitate learning about art, welcoming all ages and levels of experience.
