Baseball Tournament Slated for Weekend of 27th

El Segundo, CA—10 March 2015—Beach City Baseball Academy is pleased to announce that the German national little league team will be participating in their local tournament that will take place at Recreation Park in El Segundo Saturday and Sunday March 28 and 29 starting 9am continuing to the early afternoon. The BCBA prospects team will also be playing an exhibition game against the German team on Friday night, March 27 at 7 pm.
It is a yearly tradition for BCBA to invite an international team to this tournament. In years past they hosted a Japanese team, which was unable to come this year, and so BCBA manager Richard Murad reached out to Germany.
“One of our partners, Nate Trosky, introduced us to team Germany,” says Murad, “I’m very grateful because I want to expose South Bay players to this amazing and fun experience of sharing the common language of baseball across distinct cultures.”
