Ecuadorian-Spanish Cellist Francisco Vila with Pianist Jennie Jung

Currently in the Artist Diploma Program at the Chapelle Queen Elisabeth in Brussels, with solo engagements in Europe, Ecuadorian-Spanish cellist Francisco Vila has performed throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. Most notable recent performances included collaboration with Grammy-Award-winning composer Osvaldo Golijov at Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall, recital with pianist Luiza Borac at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and with iPalpitiorchestral ensemble of international laureates in Carnegie Zankel Hall, Philadelphia's Kimmel Center, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and Israel's Eilat International Music Festival. Upcoming projects include recording of the second Saint-Saëns concerto with the Liege Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and a series of concert appearances, including the Schumann concerto this summer at a festival in Belgium.
