zinc@shade at Shade Hotel in Manhattan Beach is Celebrating Mother's Day with a Sophisticated Brunch

zinc@shade – a craft kitchen and modern lounge located at Shade Hotel in Manhattan Beach has planned an elegant Mother’s Day brunch with a sophisticated twist. Created by executive chef Chris Garasic, the celebration will begin with a complimentary mimosa for each mom to toast to their special day followed by an elaborate brunch buffet featuring a variety of festive stations.

A chilled shellfish station will feature offer shrimp, snow crab and oysters.  A breakfast station will offer eggs Benedict and eggs Florentine, made to order omelets and scrambles, breakfast meats, O’Brien potatoes, French toast, Lox and bagels, among other selections.  A salad station will feature fresh seasonal salads, including Chinese chicken salad with mandarin oranges, almonds, wontons and sweet and spicy dressing; Mesclun lettuce with strawberries, pecans, goat cheese and balsamic dressing; and a chopped salad.  An entrée station will present hand carved roast beef, cedar plank baked salmon, roasted chicken and more.  For dessert, a sweet station will offer a selection of mini desserts, fresh baked cookies, chocolate flan cake and fresh fruit.

Brunch buffet selections will be offered from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 13. It is $45 for adults and $25 for children 10 and under. Shade Hotel is located at 1221 N.
