Labor Day Street Sweeping & Trash Schedule For Manhattan Beach

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA – Waste Management and Athens Services street sweeping will be observing Labor Day, so a modified schedule will be in place for Manhattan Beach. How will the holiday (and three day weekend!) affect your trash and street sweeping schedules?

• Waste Management
  
  • For waste management, a modified residential refuse schedule will be in place for collection days September 4 through September 8. Residential collection will be delayed by one day, so Monday's route will be serviced on Tuesday and Friday's route will be serviced on Saturday.
  • If you have questions regarding your refuse service please contact Waste Management directly at (310) 830-7100 during normal business hours. Check out all the holidays observed by Waste Management which will affect service days.
• Street Sweeping (Athens Services)
  
  • No street sweeping will occur on Labor Day and the route will not be made up. Manhattan Beach Police Department will not ticket for street sweeping on Labor Day either. If you have questions regarding your street sweeping service please contact Athens Services at (888) 336-6100.
