Local Veterans To Be Celebrated At VetFest In Manhattan Beach

The event will feature local craft brewers pouring 40 of their best beers, barbecue, ice cream and a corn hole tournament.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — The Manhattan Beach Rotary and Kinecta Federal Credit Union will celebrate local veterans, active duty military and first responders with the second annual VetFest on Sunday, November 10, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Kinecta’s Manhattan Beach branch.

The event will feature local craft brewers pouring 40 of their best IPA, amber, pilsner, stout and saison, as well as western-style barbecue and Kinecta's ice cream truck. The event will also feature live music by Yachty by Nature, and a cornhole tournament with up to $400 in cash prizes. Guests must be 21 years or older to attend.

General admission to VetFest is $35, but veterans, active duty service members and first responders will be admitted free of charge.

The proceeds from this event will be donated to local groups that support veterans, including Team Rubicon and Operation Mend, as well as local scholarship programs and other local nonprofits.
