Manhattan Beach Natives Make The Rolls of Dean's Lists Nationwide

Manhattan Beach natives have made the Dean's lists of universities in Florida, Mississippi, Pennsylvania and elsewhere this school year.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA -- Half a dozen Manhattan Beach natives have made the Dean's lists and honor rolls of universities across the country this school year, various schools report.

The University of Tampa, University of Mississippi and St. Lawrence University in New York are among the institutions of higher learning that have reported Manhattan Beach residents among those on their Dean's lists this semester.

  • Lauren Becker, who's enrolled in the University of Mississippi's Marketing program, has made the Chancellor's Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.75-4.00.
  • Henry Doherty, who's pursuing a Bachelor's degree within the University of Mississippi's Sport Management program, has made the Dean's Honor Roll, which is reserved for students with a semester GPA of 3.50-3.74.
  • Grant Gilmer has been named to the Dean's List for achieving academic excellence in the Fall 2025 semester at St. Lawrence University, a private school in Canton, New York. To be eligible for the list, a student must have an academic average of 3.6 based on a 4.0 scale for the semester.
  • Chloe Greenberg has earned dean's list honors at the University of Tampa for the Fall 2025 semester. Greenberg, a junior majoring in Design, maintained a GPA of at least 3.75 to be eligible for the list.
  • Christian Riethmiller, who's in the Political Science Bachelor's degree program at the University of Mississippi, has made the Dean's Honor Roll after earning a semester GPA of 3.50-3.74.
  • Ella Schneider, a member of the University of Mississippi's Integrated Marketing Communications program, has been named to the Chancellor's Honor Roll for earning a semester GPA of 3.75-4.00.
