Manhattan Beach Store Fundraises For Woman Battling Lyme Disease

Clothing store in Manhattan Beach hosts fundraiser for Redondo Beach Resident with Lyme Disease.

REDONDO BEACH, CA — KiND Apparel Company in Manhattan Beach is hosting a fundraiser for Redondo Beach resident Nicole Saari, who is battling Lyme disease. Saari has late-state Lyme disease, and her toddler Aaron has congenital Lyme disease, according to The Beach Reporter. The fundraiser will be on July 27 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at KiND Apparel Company.

The event will include hors d'oeuvres, wine, and complimentary chair massages from a certified massage therapist, according to The Beach Reporter, while shoppers can peruse the many clothing and accessory options at the boutique — 20% of their purchase will benefit Nicole and Aaron. There will also be a silent auction featuring work from local artists.

Each month, KiND Apparel Company features a new charity, where a portion of their process are directed, according to their website. The organizations have ranged from fighting homelessness, providing education, and more. The KiND Store only carries brands that are socially responsible and give back, according to the KiND website.
