MBPD To Participate In Movember With Moustaches, Moustache Pins
MBPD is proud to be part of the movement to raise awareness for those whose lives have been affected by prostate cancer, Sgt. Tim Zins said.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Some members of the Manhattan Beach Police Department will be displaying moustaches and moustache pins during the month of November to show their support for prostate cancer awareness as part of the Movember campaign, MBPD announced.
Movember is an annual event involving men growing m0ustaches during the month of November to raise awareness for prostate cancer, MBPD said. The goal of Movember is to "change the face of men’s health," police said.
Movember aims to increase early cancer detection, diagnosis and effective treatments, and ultimately reduce the number of preventable deaths. Men are encouraged to be aware of any family history of cancer and to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
