Meet A Shark At Roundhouse Aquarium Pop-Up 'Exploring The Depths'
The CSULB shark lab will bring a pop-up exhibit to the aquarium that will allow people to get up close and interact with sharks.
MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — To prolong Shark Week, the Manhattan Beach Roundhouse Aquarium is collaborating with Long Beach State's Shark Lab to bring high-quality shark education to the South Bay.
On Aug. 14, the award-winning CSULB shark lab will bring a pop-up exhibit to the aquarium that will allow people to get up close and interact with sharks and learn more about the marvelous animals.
"Sharks are important indicators of the health of our oceans. These marine animals keep our oceans healthy," the Roundhouse Aquarium told Patch. "It's important for humans to learn how to conserve these amazing creatures as they affect the ocean environment that humans depend on for many benefits and functions."

The Shark Lab will bring its Shark Shack, which has visited and educated people at various beaches across Southern California. At the pop-up, grade and undergraduate students will showcase the technology used at CSULB to study sharks in their natural habitat.
Visitors of all ages are invited to visit the aquarium's sharks and get to know the creatures that call the Santa Monica Bay home. There will be activities the young and not-so-young can participate in to help understand sharks better.
