Motorcyclist Killed In South Bay Crash
An investigation was underway to confirm the cause of the incident.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA – A motorcyclist was killed in an early morning crash Wednesday in Hawthorne, authorities said.
The crash was reported at 1:18 a.m. on northbound Prairie Avenue at Jack Northrop Avenue, Hawthorne police Lt. Ti Goetz said.
Firefighters and police officers found the motorcyclist down after he crashed, Goetz said. It appeared he either crashed into a curb or a tree. An investigation was underway to confirm the cause of the incident.

A SigAlert was issued for northbound Prairie Avenue from Jack Northrop Avenue to West 120th Street.
