Motorist Crashes Into Construction Enclosure On 405 Freeway

TORRANCE, CA – A man was killed when he crashed his vehicle on the San Diego 405 Freeway through a construction enclosure and then into a construction vehicle in Torrance, authorities said Monday. The crash was reported on Sunday at 10:35 p.m. on the northbound San Diego Freeway at Crenshaw Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The motorist was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, the CHP said, and his name and age weren't immediately released.
