Nancy Paulikas IS STILL MISSING after visiting LACMA on Saturday, October 15 with her husband, Kirk Moody and other family.
Kirk and Nancy live in Manhattan Beach. Nancy is an engineer by training, was a private pilot, and was VP of a software company that she helped take public and she and Kirk retired early. Then the unthinkable: Alzheimer's Disease, and it has been an incredibly steep decline. She now has the cognitive functioning in the 4-yr-old range and has little spoken language left. It is just unthinkable.

Kirk, Nancy, Kirk's mom, sister, sister's partner (visiting from Colorado), and a local cousin were at LACMA in the Miracle Mile area on Saturday 15 October 2016 for a museum visit. Kirk took Nancy to a restroom in LACMA around 2:30 PM went into the men’s room, and when he came out to wait for her, she did not come up. As it turns out, security videos later showed that she didn’t stay in the restroom but instead immediately walked back out and just kept walking, eventually exiting the museum.
Kirk got people go to check for Nancy, and then got the support of Museum staff to search. LAPD got the "critical missing" person report at about 4:30 PM on Saturday after the Museum staff had looked all through the Museum. LAPD did a 2mi x 2mi block by block search on Saturday afternoon/evening, supported by a helicopter.

NANCY IS STILL MISSING! Countless hours of searching on foot, distributing flyers over the greater Wilshire/Fairfax area, searching homeless shelters and homeless encampments, endless hour of viewing videos and following up on numerous leads from Santa Monica to San Diego and STILL NANCY IS MISSING.
A team of volunteers made up of neighbors, friends, relatives, friends of friends and total strangers are working 24/7 either on foot, on the phone and working with the police and every pertinent LA County agency but NANCY IS STILL MISSING.
Friday, November 11 is NANCY’S BIRTHDAY and we want her home for her birthday.
We are hoping another plea for information from the community will help us get her back in time to celebrate her birthday in her home with Kirk and family.
