New Manhattan Beach Police Chief To Be Sworn In Next Week

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA – The community is invited to the official Swearing In Ceremony of Manhattan Beach Chief of Police, Derrick Abell on Jan. 16 at the Joslyn Community Center. Beginning at 9 a.m., the City Council and community of Manhattan Beach will recognize the passion and commitment of former Captain Abell, by swearing him in as Chief of Police, according to the City of Manhattan Beach.

Following the ceremony, there will be a brief reception. If you're unable to attend, there will be a live webcast of the event – after its conclusion, a recording may be found here.

The Joslyn Community Center is located at 1601 North Valley Drive in Manhattan Beach.
