New Signs Remind Manhattan Beach Of Municipal Codes
There will be a 14-day warning period before citations will be issued when Municipal Codes are violated.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA – The Manhattan Beach Police Department posted new signs at the Metlox property and the Civic CenterPlaza to remind residents of Municipal Codes, including: no skating or skateboarding, smoking or vaping, bicycling or scooters allowed, and dogs shall be leashed at all times.
The Metlox property is located at 451 Manhattan Beach Boulevard, and the Manhattan Beach Civic Center Plaza is located at 1400 Highland Ave and 420 15th Street, according to MBPD. Both properties have sustained damage from skateboarding, so MBPD wants to remind skateboarders to use the Manhattan Beach Skatepark located at 1625 Marine Avenue, police said.
There will be a 14-day warning period beginning July 26, but starting August 9 citations will be issued for violations of the Manhattan Beach Municipal Codes related to these activities, police said.
