Patch iPhone App

In case you didn't know, there's a free Patch iPhone app that can keep you connected and up-to-date with what's going on in Patch communities, including Manhattan Beach.

Indeed, the Patch Tech Elves have worked their magic and the mobile Patch app is easy to use, fun, and lets you take us everywhere.

The free iPhone app is in Apple’s App Store and includes all of the things you get on the daily Manhattan Beach Patch site, including community news, weather, local business listings and events here in town.

You can read the latest articles on city events, local sports like Little League, beach volleyball and high school athletics, the best place to grab a bite, features about local people and places, and know what's going on with arts and entertainment in your neighborhood.

You can also share your voice by commenting on stories, business listings, and uploading your photos to the site. For example, if you're having a great meal at a local restaurant, upload a picture of the main course to that restaurant's directory listing. Or add your photos to coverage of a sports event or concert in the park.

You can also use the app to share your favorite stories and/or business listings on Facebook or via e-mail. And you can save events to your iPhone calendar in just seconds!

The new app also allows you to switch easily between neighboring Patches that interest you, which comes in handy when you're out and about.
