Police Investigate Possible Suicide In Manhattan Beach
Authorities responded a radio call at 20th Street and Ocean Drive on the sand regarding a medical emergency.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA – The Manhattan Beach Police Department is investigating a possible suicide on the sand, police announced Monday.
On Friday, April 19 at approximately 1:15 p.m., MBPD, the Manhattan Beach Fire Department and Los Angeles County Lifeguards responded to a radio call at 20th Street and Ocean Drive on the sand regarding a medical emergency, the MBPD press release said. Authorities are investigating the incident as a possible suicide, police said.
The name of the deceased is not being released at this time pending coroner’s investigation and
notification of next of kin.
