“Are we really ready for the next Pandemic?”

 Our guest this Tuesday July 15th is Harlan Dolgin of the Bio-Defense Network.  Harlan has been a Certified Business Continuity Professional since 2003, with more than 15 years’ experience in the areas of Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Emergency Management and Pandemic Preparedness.  He is currently Co-Owner of the Bio-Defense Network, a firm specializing in pandemic and bioterrorism preparedness for public and private sector organizations.  He has also worked in BC/DR at Thomson Reuters, US Bank, and WellPoint.  Harlan is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Community Health at St. Louis University, teaching Business Continuity Management and Pandemic Planning.  In 2006, Dolgin was Founder and Co-Chair of PandemicPrep.Org, a not-for-profit organization working to prepare the St. Louis region for the next pandemic. PandemicPrep.Org is the nation’s leading grassroots pandemic planning organization and a trusted partner with FEMA, HHS, Department of Homeland Security and OSHA.  Prior to his business continuity and disaster recovery career, Mr. Dolgin practiced civil and trial law for eight years.  He has maintained his law license with the State of Missouri since 1986.
