Name: Jeff Beck. 

Occupation: I'm in digital print press operation. 

How long have you lived in Manhattan Beach? I've lived here pretty much all of my life except for college. 

What is the city's most important issue? Keeping it small, keeping it intimate. 

If you could change one thing about Manhattan Beach, what would it be? The marine layer during June! 

What is your favorite Manhattan Beach memory? Going to the State Finals when I was a kid playing soccer. I was seven years old. 

Name something you've always wanted to do out here but have been nervous or too busy to try. Starting my own business—something artistic.  

Where is your favorite place in town to eat, shop or relax? I don't eat out much, and I'm not much of a shopper either. The beach is pretty much my place.
