Roundhouse Aquarium Fun Run Returns To Manhattan Beach

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — The 7th annual Roundhouse Fun Run for the Oceans is returning to the Manhattan Beach Pier at 9:30 a.m. this Saturday, May 11.

This family-friendly 5K beach run/walk will raise money to fund the Roundhouse Aquarium programs and ensure environmental and marine science education continues for the public and students, according to the Roundhouse Aquarium website.

Racewire will time the race — first, second, and third place winners in each category will receive a medal and prizes. The age divisions are 9 and under, 10 to 14, 15 to 29, 30 to 49, and 50+, with separate categories for men and women. All participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt and free refreshments.

Participants can sign up the day of the race for $40. There will also be a raffle with tickets for $5 each.
