Shade Hotel Hosts Non-Traditional Thanksgiving Meal

While the warmth of a traditional family gathering and “got to have it” smells of an indulgent holiday feast will be ever-present, Shade Hotel in Manhattan Beach is set to host a non-traditional meal this Thanksgiving. The beach city’s only luxury boutique hotel will welcome guests on Thursday, November 26 with a unique holiday spread created by the hotel’s Executive Chef Chris Garasic.

This year, Thanksgiving guests will enjoy a prix fixe four-course menu including Potato Leek Soup, Roasted Butternut Squash Salad; Holiday Turkey Meatloaf with Apple Sage Stuffing, Creamed Black Kale and Orange Cranberry Chutney or Down South Pan-fried Turkey Breast with Whipped Sweet Potatoes, Honey Mustard Glazed Heirloom Baby Carrots, Pan Gravy and Cranberry Apple Chutney; and a choice of two heavenly desserts: a Pear Cranberry Tart with Vanilla Ice Cream and Spiced Chantilly Cream, or Maple Pumpkin Cheesecake with Candied Pecans, Bacon Ice Cream and Kahlua Crème Anglaise.
