Tip-A-Cop Event Coming To Tin Roof Bistro In Manhattan Beach

Manhattan Beach police officers and staff will serve as hosts and waiters to raise money for Special Olympics.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — The Manhattan Beach Police Department will be hosting their annual Tip-A-Cop event at Tin Roof Bistro from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, November 14.

At the Tip-A-Cop event, MBPD officers and staff serve as hosts and waiters to raise money for Special Olympics.

"Join MBPD for a memorable dining experience and exceptional service," the press release said. "Manhattan Beach Police Department staff will collect tips and donations to benefits our local Special Olympic Athletes."

Tips are tax deductible donations, the press release said. Since 2012, the Manhattan Beach Police Department’s Tip-A-Cop events have raised over $70,000.
