Two Burglars Arrested, Third Suspect Not Yet Located

A Manhattan Beach resident called the police when he witnessed three people ransacking a parked vehicle.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA – At approximately 2:00 a.m. Monday morning, a Manhattan Beach resident called the Manhattan Beach Police Department to report that he observed three people ransacking a neighbor's parked, unlocked vehicle. The resident shouted at the suspects, who fled south on Pine Avenue toward 19th Street.

Officers located a possible suspect vehicle leaving the area and conducted a traffic stop – two subjects were contacted in the vehicle. During the investigation, officers discovered the suspects had entered an unlocked vehicle and used the garage door remote to open a garage before ransacking another vehicle inside the attached garage, according to Manhattan Beach Police.

The suspects, Rolando Enrique Magana and Rolando Luna Garcia were arrested for burglary and booked at the Manhattan Beach jail. The third suspect was not located.

Anyone with information on the outstanding suspect or anyone in the area of 1900 to 2000 blocks Pine Avenue with video surveillance depicting the outstanding suspect is asked to call Detective Traci Navarrette at (310) 802-5125.
