Woman's Body Found Near Marina del Rey Harbor Identified
Boaters discovered the body of a 38-year-old woman a half mile west of the harbor over the weekend.
MARINA DEL REY, CA — A 38-year-old woman whose body was discovered by boaters about a half-mile west of the Marina del Rey harbor entrance was identified Tuesday.
The discovery was reported at 2:36 p.m. Saturday, according to Lt. Paul Carmona of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Marina del Rey station.
She was identified Tuesday by the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner as Nefertari Ramsey, whose cause of death was listed as deferred.

Deputies were at the scene investigating Saturday. The Sheriff's Information Bureau told City New Service on Tuesday that no official homicide investigation had been opened yet.
