Baby, Man Killed In Hit-And-Run In Playa Del Rey: Police

LOS ANGELES — A baby and a man were killed Sunday morning in a hit-and-run crash in which a child and another adult were also injured, according to authorities.

The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. in the 6800 block of South Vista Del Mar in Playa del Rey, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

A Jeep traveling south crossed into the northbound lanes and hit a vehicle, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Norma Eisenman said, adding the Jeep’s driver, a man, fled the scene.

A 25-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Eisenman, while another adult, a minor and the baby were taken to the hospital, where the baby was pronounced dead.
