Bomb Squad Called to Marina del Rey

Deputies are investigating a suspicious package found on Admiralty Way.

UPDATE at 12:36 p.m.: KTLA reports that the scene has been given the all-clear. KABC reports that the suspicious device found poolside at the Jamaica Bay Inn was a hoax.

UPDATE at 11:38 a.m.: That suspicious package in Marina del Rey was spotted at the Jamaica Bay Inn on Admiralty Way and Palawan Way, just east of Via Marina. Sheriff’s officials have cordoned off the area and some evacuations have been ordered, including the hotel and adjacent Mothers Beach area.
