Public Meeting Set on Future of Marina del Rey
County planners will hold an informational meeting Thursday looking at plans for Marina del Rey.

What should Marina del Rey's future look like?
A community meeting Thursday will give residents a chance to discuss just that as planners begin turning their attention to Marina del Rey's development over the next two decades.
The gathering will be the first of many meetings over the next several months to begin considering Marina del Rey's future, according to Gina Natoli, supervising regional planner for the Los Angeles County Department of Regional Planning.

"What we'll be looking at is visioning in Marina del Rey over the next 20 years," Natoli said.
The meeting is designed to be informational. Marina del Rey residents can learn about the visioning process, how they can get involved, and the timeline for the rest of this year's planning meetings, Natoli said.
