Election Filing Deadline Today, Knabe Unopposed

Don Knabe, Marina and Playa del Rey's representative to the County Board of Supervisors has no challenger.

Today is the deadline to file for most offices for the June primary election.

The deadline will be extended to Wednesday for offices in which the incumbent is not running for re-election, except for those where the incumbent cannot seek re-election because of term limits, and Superior Court judgeships.

In Los Angeles County, the ballot will include races for District Attorney, where incumbent Steve Cooley has announced that he will not run for re-election, and seats on the Board of Supervisors held by Mike Antonovich, Don Knabe and Mark Ridley-Thomas.
