CHALK, an art gallery and design studio, is announcing its opening reception featuring art by Canlove and musical guests.
CHALK is opening its doors and inviting everyone to be a part of the celebration. There will be food, art, beverages, giveaways, live silk screening,musical performances and more.
In the main gallery is an installation by Canlove: A Graffiti Recycling Program(www.canlove.org). Canlove is a collective of artists who are committed to creatingworks of art out of abandoned and discarded spray paint cans, from three dimensional can bouquets to paintings sourced from spent cans. You’ll be able to meet the artists and learn how used spray paint cans are cut, bent, and exploded into amazing works ofart.
