Almost 40 paddleboards blasted off at the sound of the horn last Sunday Morning as the first ever Marina del Rey Stand up paddleboard race started at Santa Monica Windjammers Yacht Club. The Fun race was comprised of beginners as well as experienced paddlers separated in to classes based on board length. The 4 classes paddled 2 different courses both within the Marina on flat water. The yacht club was overwhelmed by the attendance and are planning another SUP race on Sunday July 24 at 9am Contact Russc@actionwatersports.com for more information.
