Explosives Alert Triggers Evacuation at LAX
A Cargo facility at Los Angeles International Airport has been evacuated after an explosive trace detection scanner registered an alert.

UPDATED: Airport police say an LAPD bomb squad has determined that a suspicious package that prompted the evacuation of the Southwest Airlines Cargo facility in the 5700 block of Century Boulevard near Los Angeles International Airport contained only medical equipment and tubing.
Staff are being allowed back into the building.
