Firefighters Contain Brush Fire In Marina Del Rey
Firefighters battled a fire that burned about one acre in Marina del Rey Sunday.
MARINA DEL REY, CA — Firefighters contained a one acre brush fire in Marina del Rey Sunday near the Ballona Wetlands.
The grass fire was reported at 4:23 p.m. in the 4900 block of South Lincoln Boulevard.
It burned about one acre of low to medium brush in light winds, Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department said. No homes were threatened. No injuries were reported.

The companies on scene were handling and no additional resources were anticipated to be required, Stewart said Sunday.
