Gas Prices Ease Slightly
Average prices in Los Angeles County remain high for this time of year.
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County recorded its fourth consecutive daily decrease today after rising 36 of the previous 37 days, falling two-tenths of a cent to $4.385.
The average price is nine-tenths of a cent less than a week ago, but 32.5 cents more than one month ago and 41.2 cents higher than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price fell four-tenths of a cent on Friday, six-tenths of a cent on Saturday and two-tenths of a cent on Sunday.

The Orange County average price rose one-tenth of a cent today to $4.371, one day after being unchanged. It is six-tenths of a cent less than a week ago, but 32.1 cents more than one month ago and 41.4 cents higher than one year ago.
