Emergency Room Shut Down After Spill At Marina Del Rey Hospital

MARINA DEL REY, CA – A liquid nitrogen spill Monday prompted closure of the emergency room at Cedars-Sinai Marina Del Rey Hospital, but no injuries were reported.

Firefighters were sent to the facility at 4650 Lincoln Blvd. about 8:40 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The emergency room was closed as a precaution while hazardous- materials crews worked to handle the problem.
