The Vikings finish undefeated in league with a 71-32 rout of St. Monica.

Play as fast and as hard as you can for four quarters and never let up. That has been the mantra of boys basketball coach since before the season began. It suffices to say his players have heeded his words.

The Vikings completed their romp through the Camino Real League with a 71-32 rout of visiting St. Monica on Thursday night in Playa del Rey. Hopefully the CIF playoffs will produce a team that can challenge St. Bernard because certainly no league opponent could.

The Vikings' slimmest margin of victory in league was 14 points at Rosemead Bosco Tech. Eight of their other nine victories were by a minimum of 25 points and they scored over 70 points in all of them.
